It's almost Christmas..

Oh, and it's only 41 days until I fly out to Morocco. So I'm listening to pump up music and writing this blog trying to figure out how I'm going to fit everything into the next 41 days.

Organisation is going well. I'm in a little bit of a stress/freak out mode at the moment, as I paid for the entire trip yesterday. Now I'm going "OMGOMGOMG". Plus, I'm absolutely winging the extra 1.5 months of travel at the end.

When I say "winging" I mean I have a list of countries and people that I want to visit, and that's it.

"Smart one, Clem", I hear you say.

Thanks. I feel a bit like a genius.

I suppose the most exciting thing that has happened was that one of the workers from Morocco added me on Facebook. I'm not even there yet, so I find this really cool.

Needless to say, I think that if I wasn't so tired from working and *coughs* going out with friends *coughs* I would be more excited at this point. ALTHOUGH I got excited again when I managed to have a 40 minute conversation about my trip with a random woman from the bank (who is absolutely the nicest person in the world-she helped me so much. I was hopeless). She's now going to try to go and volunteer through the same company (Projects Abroad FTW).

But enough of my ramblings. The adventure continues.

58 Days. Get Excited.

I'm not normally one for countdowns. After a couple of friends decided to countdown from hundreds of days out to different events, I was put off. This is the first, and most definitely won't be the last, but I'll spare you most numbers in between here and 5.

You see, in 58 days I trade my comfortable uni student lifestyle of Adelaide for a volunteer position in Morocco. Needless to say I won't be posting much until it get's closer to the date, but it will probably take me that long to figure out how to work this blog properly anyway =)

This is my adventure. Welcome aboard.
